Atlanta Hookah Event Solutions Open Letter!

Updated: Aug 8, 2019

To Whom It May Concern:

In writing this to you it is my goal to not only educate Atlanta, but also offer solutions to many of your concerns with allowing hookah service at events held in certain environments throughout the Metro Atlanta Area.

Let us start by exploring the origin of hookah. The Hookah's origin traces back to India. It

surfaced in the form we know it as today around the 15th Century when Indian Glass manufacturing began as a result of the exporting of glass to India through the British East India Company. People often ask, What is hookah? Hookah is simply a water pipe with a single- or multi-stemmed instrument for vaporizing and smoking.Smoke is passed through a water basin often glass-based before inhalation.

Here are the Top 3 Dilemmas some of our clients in Atlanta often face when getting approval for IC hookah service to be offered to their guest:

#1 No tobacco allowed

There is a simple solution to this concern it is called herbal shisha.

The main differences in herbal shisha and regular hookah tobacco are that herbal shisha is made

from sugarcane, and contains no tobacco or nicotine.

#2 No glass Allowed

Also, a simple solution! We provide our clients with a choice for their event of glass, acrylic

plastic, or brass.

#3 Last but not least what we call No Fire No Competition

The traditional way to use a hookah is with coal lit from a burner or lighter. We offer a safe

hazard free solution with our electronic hookah heads, replacing the need for coal with a

rechargeable electronic device.

If a client, venue owner, or authorities etc. have concerns or reservations there are often

solutions that are feasible to all parties involved. I would be more than happy to answer and offer solutions for any questions or concerns you may have. We realize hookah is has not been a significant part of american culture.

However, we must not confuse it with traditional cigarette smoking and marijuana smoking. Hookah has been around for many centuries and has now become a staple in many popular events and gatherings throughout the United States. I hope in reading this you feel more informed, and are able to make an educated decision as to whether or not hookah service will be allowed at this and future events.
